"Stay afraid, but do it anyway. What’s important is the action. You don’t have to wait to be confident. Just do it and eventually the confidence will follow."

ABOUT ME
Born and raised in the heat of the Sonoran Desert of Arizona, I traded those hundred-degree days for the thinner air and higher elevations in Colorado. I currently live outside Denver with my husband and our son. (And the dogs, mustn’t forget the dogs.)

I’m an avid reader and occasional essayist with an interest in a wide variety of crafting hobbies, including sewing and cross stitching. I find knitting to be particularly meditative and regularly turn to needles and yarn when I’m ready to decompress.

Beyond my hobbies is my commitment to social progress, particularly with regard to fighting stigma related to mental illness, dismantling institutional racism, protecting LGBTQIA+ youth, and addressing gender bias in everyday life.
I am a certified life and personal development coach and I am pursuing credentials as a professional coach with the International Coach Federation – the gold standard of the coaching industry – because it is important that my clients know how seriously I take our work. I want the people I serve to know I’ve made a commitment to push myself to grow instead of stagnate. I have chosen to hold myself accountable to the coaching industry standards, the code of ethics, and the best practices.

My personal experiences with grief, trauma, mental illness, and growing up queer have informed my practice, but there is always more to learn, new paths to explore. I want my clients to be assured that I am doing my very best for them in all ways.
