ABOUT ME
Born and raised in the heat of the Sonoran Desert of Arizona, I traded those hundred-degree days for the thinner air and higher elevations in Colorado. I currently live outside Denver with my husband and our son. (And the dogs, mustn’t forget the dogs.)
I’m an avid reader and occasional essayist with an interest in a wide variety of crafting hobbies, including sewing and cross stitching. I find knitting to be particularly meditative and regularly turn to needles and yarn when I’m ready to decompress.
I am pursuing credentials as a professional coach with the International Coach Federation – the gold standard of the coaching industry – because it is important that my clients know how seriously I take our work. I want the people I serve to know I’ve made a commitment to push myself to grow instead of stagnate. I have chosen to hold myself accountable to the coaching industry standards, the code of ethics, and the best practices.
My personal experiences with grief, trauma, mental illness, and growing up queer have informed my practice, but there is always more to learn, new paths to explore. I want my clients to be assured that I am doing my very best for them in all ways.

CODE OF ETHICS
As a member of the International Coach Federation and ICF Colorado I have made a commitment to adhere to the Code of Ethics as declared by the ICF. My personal ethical beliefs overlap quite a bit with those set out by the federation, but there are a few points of particular importance to me. I want anyone considering a coaching relationship with me to know what I value, and what I will ensure in our time together.
-
I will ensure that during the initial session my client understands the nature of coaching, the bounds of confidentiality, financial arrangements, and any other terms of the coaching agreement.
-
I commit to keep my clients’ interests above my own.
-
I commit to guard and guarantee my clients’ confidentiality, but I will take all reasonable steps to notify the appropriate authorities in the event a client discloses an intention to endanger self or others. As a youth athletic coach, I am a mandatory reporter in the state of Colorado, and I include that commitment in my Life Coaching practice.
-
I will not offer counseling or psychotherapy to any client in my services as a coach.
-
Furthermore, I will encourage my client to make a change if I believe they will be better served by a mental health professional, another coach, or by another resource and I will suggest my client seek other services when deemed appropriate.
-
I commit to build lasting relationships on a foundation of respect, integrity, and honesty with each client I serve.
-
I will devote all my energy, focus, and experience to helping each client I serve.
-
I commit to encourage my clients to set realistic goals, take appropriate actions, celebrate success, and believe in themselves.
-
I commit to create for my clients a space of safe and nurturing coaching, which will allow them to be themselves without fear of judgment or criticism.
